Laerdal Grant Project

Students at the Rebekah Ann Naylor School of Nursing (RANSON) and five other nursing schools in India engaged in a simulation project to “Save Lives at Birth in India”.  This project was funded by the Laerdal Foundation and was awarded to Belmont University in collaboration with Bangalore Baptist Hospital RANSON.  300 students engaged in an online course and participated in simulation scenarios at BBH RANSON to improve neonatal resuscitation skills.  Students enrolled in the program had a significant improvement in neonatal resuscitation knowledge after program completion.
